11/3 NBA Fantasy Preview

Writer: 3 in the Key Team3 in the Key Team

We had a massive slate of games yesterday with some crazy moments such as Darius Garland's incredible returning performance to lead the Cavs to an OT win over Boston, Tyler Herro's game-winning 3 to cap off a phenomenal performance, and even now-Lakers legend Matt Ryan hitting the game-tying 3 to send the Lakers to OT to ultimately win their second-straight game. With all of that behind us, we are left with a tiny two-game slate on this beautiful Thursday, so let's dive right into our favorite plays for the night!

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS vs. ORLANDO MAGIC

(GSW -9 | o/u 226)

G/F: Franz Wagner (DK: $6,700; FD: $6,800)

Franz Wagner has been running point guard for the Magic recently and if Terrence Ross ends up playing, that shouldn't change. If Ross sits, he'll most likely slide to SG where GS is 5th in REB and 3rd in AST given up to opposing SGs. Regardless of what position he starts at, he's under $7,000 and is a focal point of this offense.

F: Paolo Banchero (DK: $8,200; FD: $8,500)

While his price is skyrocketing on both sites, Paolo has proven what he is capable of this season. Without Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz, Paolo is still trusted with some more ball-handling duties. He's had two mediocre performances in the last two games, but he should see solid run against a struggling Warriors team thus far.

F/C: Bol Bol (DK: $6,200; FD: $5,800)

Bol Bol has been on a tear recently. He's facing a GS defense that is 1st in PTS and 2nd in AST given up to opposing PFs. Bol is too cheap to avoid right now.

G: Klay Thompson (DK: $5,500; FD: $5,200) OR G: Jordan Poole (DK: $6,400; FD: $6,500)

GS's two SGs this season have been on-and-off, but ORL hasn't been great defensively at that two-guard position. ORL gives up the 2nd most AST to SGs, so that is a bit more beneficial to Poole, but Klay has a lot more value for his price. You can roll with whoever you're more comfortable with.

F: Draymond Green (DK: $6,000; FD: $5,700)

ORL is 9th in PTS, 11th in REB, and 5th in 3PM given up to PFs this season. Draymond has had a rocky start to the season, but he sees a favorable matchup tonight against ORL and has a lot of value for his price.

F: Andrew Wiggins (DK: $; FD: $8,000)

Paolo Banchero has been a weaker link defensively for the Magic this season and tonight he'll most likely be slotted back in at SF, meaning that Wiggins gets a more favorable matchup. Wiggs has been one of GS's more consistent players, so I could see him having another solid game tonight.

F/C: Wendell Carter Jr (DK: $7,400; FD: $7,600)

WCJ might be our favorite play for ORL tonight. He's facing a GS defense that is 1st in PTS, 7th in REB, and 6th in AST given up to Cs. Expect WCJ to feast against a weak GS defense.

Value Plays:

- C: Mo Bamba (DK: $3,500; FD: $4,700)

- F/C: JaMychal Green (DK: $3,600; FD: $3,800)

If Terrence Ross sits out:

- G/F: Caleb Houston (DK: $3,000; FD: $3,500)

- G: RJ Hampton (DK: $4,900; FD: $4,600)

- F: Chuma Okeke (DK: $3,700; FD: $3,900)

DENVER NUGGETS vs. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER

(DEN -6.5 | o/u 228.5)

G: Josh Giddey (DK: $7,000; FD: $7,300)

Giddey is back and has an amazing matchup tonight. DEN is 4th in PTS, 6th in REB, and 4th in 3PM given up to PGs this season. He had 30+ FP in 2 games vs. DEN last season and put up 45+ FP in a game against DEN earlier this season. Expect Giddey to do A LOT tonight.

G: Shai Gilegous-Alexander (DK: $9,700; FD: $10,800)

Not much to say here. SGA had 45+ FP in 2/3 games vs. DEN last season and is looking absolutely unstoppable so far this season and we don't expect that to slow down tonight.

G/F: Jalen Williams (DK: $4,700; FD: $4,800)

Jalen Williams joined the starting lineup last game and did not perform very well, but there's a chance he starts again tonight (regardless, he should see solid minutes) and he's just too cheap to pass on. This OKC team has no problem letting young studs like Williams play 20-25+ minutes.

G/F: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DK: $5,000; FD: $5,400)

KCP has found his rhythm on this DEN team. He's averaging 25+ FP per game this season and already had 30+ FP against OKC earlier this season. He's still fairly cheap and if he continues this level of production, you can't pass him up.

G: Jamal Murray (DK: $5,600; FD: $5,600)

Murray is too cheap to avoid at this point. He just saw 30+ MIN for the first time this season and hit the 20+ PTS mark for the first time. He seems to be slowly coming back to form, so catch him while his price is this low.

G/F: Lu Dort (DK: $5,800; FD: $6,000)

Dort has shown flashes of what he is capable of so far this season. He's produced 30+ FP in 4/7 games played this season. For around $6,000, Dort has a lot of upside.

G/F: Bruce Brown (DK: $5,200; FD: $4,700)

I especially love Bruce Brown if Bones Hyland ends up sitting out tonight. You can even play him at PG on DK. He's been up-and-down this season, but if Bones sits, Brown is in line for a lot of work off the bench. Even if Bones plays, Brown will still see his normal allotment of minutes, so you could play him regardless.

C: Nikola Jokic (DK: $11,400; FD: $11,500)

We always say centers against Plumlee here, but we honestly need to add in centers against OKC. OKC is terrible defensively against Cs and is 2nd in PTS, 2nd in REB, and 9th in 3PM given up to Cs this season. He put up 70+ FP in a game vs. OKC last year. We're talking about the 2-time MVP here.

Value Plays:

- F/C: Jeff Green (DK: $3,600; FD: $4,100)

- G/F: Moses Moody (DK: $3,300; FD: $3,600)

- G: Ty Jerome (DK: $3,100; FD: $3,600)

That's all for today's small slate! We figured we'd be a little lengthier today with only two games being played. We hope we can help any and all of you bring home some money with our advice!
